About
The Mission of American Contingency (Amcon) Northeast Ohio is to bring together like minded citizens who have an interest in general emergency preparedness and protection of family and local community. Our goal is to assist one another and our communities in times of disaster, emergency or crisis of whatever form. We also sponsor and support training and education on all topics that could relate to emergency preparedness. We aim to increase all of our members self reliance and preparedness. As a group we are non political__. We are committed to supporting and advancing traditional American values, our heritage, liberty, charity, lawfulness, and helping our fellow countrymen in times of crisis, and never supporting those whose objectives are in conflict with those values and ideals. We value
freedom of expression and the right of assembly. We strongly support the U.S. Constitution and our civil authorities operating in accordance with it. We will defend such against all enemies foreign or domestic.

Standards of the American Contingency (AMCON) Community are as follows:
American Contingency members and affiliates will engage in fair treatment of others, including American Contingency employees, other American Contingency members, American Contingency family members, and affiliated companies and instructors without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin and provide an environment free of unlawful discrimination and offensive behavior. American Contingency members and affiliates believe that sexual harassment is unacceptable and such conduct and will not be tolerated. American Contingency members and affiliates have a zero tolerance policy in regard to all of the above. American Contingency leadership at all levels will be committed to creating and maintaining an environment conducive to maximum productivity and respect for human dignity.
